Mid-Market Account Executive

LocalStack is on pace to triple ARR this year and we need an experienced Mid-Market Account Executive to come in and help us capitalize on the growing number of opportunities on our plate.

We are a young, fast-growing startup, headquartered in Zurich/Switzerland with a development office in Vienna/Austria and remote team members from around the world (incl. US, FR, UK, IN, MX, IE). At LocalStack, we’re building world-class tooling to support highly efficient dev&test feedback loops for cloud application developers. Our core product is the LocalStack cloud emulator - a light-weight cloud sandbox running in Docker that allows our users to develop cloud applications entirely on their local machines.

LocalStack has a large and active open source community (49k+ stars on GitHub) with several 100k active users worldwide and 180M+ downloads to date. With a growing international customer base across Fortune Global 500 companies for our Pro and Enterprise offerings, as well as a growing, globally distributed team of top-notch engineers and GTM experts, we are on an exciting growth journey to become the world’s leading platform for local cloud software development.


  • Source new logos, schedule, demo, and close end to end for companies under 10,000 employees around the world.

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to build a strong pipeline.

  • Lead product demos and technical POC’s with prospects.

  • Collaborate with your SE, CS, Support, and Engineering to provide a white glove customer experience.

  • Negotiate with procurement and bring deals in as forecasted.

  • Relay customer feedback and insights to the team to inform our roadmap.

  • Report directly to the Head of Sales and Customer Success.

  • Log your activities in our CRM.


  • 5 years of successful closing experience in B2B tech sales, preferably with a focus on developer technologies.

  • You must have experience closing six figure deals. This includes procurement negotiation.

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota.

  • Technically minded.

  • The ability to discuss complex, technical topics with brevity.

  • Have previously worked at a Startup and are familiar with that environment.

  • Willing to work east coast hours.
